Outlook unable to connect to POP/SMTP...

I've tested the POP/SMTP settings on another system on my network
sucessfully, but the system I need it to work on will not connect. Network
and Internet connectivity seem to work fine. W32.Blackmal.E was found and
cleaned on the system, but the system.

Currently running Office 2003 Pro SP2 with all the current updates on an XP
Home SP2 system. Thought? Suggestions?
