Outlook unexpectedly closes

Outlook 2002 and Exchange 2000 - when scrolling through
contacts, Outlook closes down when it reaches the E's.
Does the same thing in the Address Book. Is there a
utility that rebuilds a mailbox so it can identify or
delete the bad contact record?
