outlook unopened mail

Please help. When I start my laptop up the screen opens for me to enter my
password. A message appears saying I have unopened mail in two of my mail
accounts in OUTLOOK. I search both accounts and use the view that says to
show unopened mail. I search all folders in the mail accounts and nothing can
be found. Does anyone have any idea how I can clear these errors off of my
sign in screen. I am positive there are no unopened mail.
