Outlook Using 100% of CPU

I just applied SR1, SR1a, SP3 to my Office 2000. In the process I lost my
addresses and now whenever I run Outlook (only use its calendar) the task
manager shows it is using cpu at maximum. When I close it cpu use goes to
near zero. My wife's login does not show the same behavior, so it seems to
be related to my login's data files.
Any chance of recovering my addresses? What can I do to fix Outlook so it
is not using cpu 100%.

You will need to apply the Dec 18th, 2002 update for Outlook 2000.

Address information is stored in the contacts folder. Is that folder empty?
