I have a client using Outlook configured for (Internet
Mail Only) to access my POP3 server, from a Windows2000
Professional workstation.
When he attempts to receive email, he gets the logon popup
and has to enter his password, even through the checkbox
to remember password is set in the account profile.
Looking in the my servers event viewer is see a 680 and a
529 Event with logon failure.
The funny thing is it's trying to logon using his machine
username not his POP3 account username.
What is causing Outlook to try using his machine username
instead of the user name in the internet account?
