Outlook View Control: Viewctl

I'm using the Outlook ActiveX View control in a VB app and I can't see how
to get it to seek to a specified Email.

What my customer wants is for my app to sync its Outlook View Control to
whatever email they're currently on in MS Outlook. I can see how to create
a MailItem object for the one they're on in Outlook, but I can't see any
method of the View control to go to the same email.

Any help much appreciated.

That can't be done, not with the OVC, not with an actual Explorer object.

Ah well - a negative answer is better than none!
