Outlook / VPN / DSL

R

Randall

I have a user that has a DSL connection and a Netscreen
VPN client installed. The VPN connection works fine.
The problem is with Outlook 2000 connecting to Exchange
2000. The user connects with no problem and can receive,
send and read messages with no problem. The problem is
sending a message with an attachment. After about 30
seconds,a message says there is a problem with the network
connection.
The DSL provider says this is because they are blocking
port 135
Other research tells me this is not a problem with a VPN
tunnel.
Another source tells me to give up and use Web Access.
This is not what I want to hear.
I have othe remote users with cable connections and even
one dial up. They do not have this problem.
Any ideas??
PS, This one user also cannot view appointents on his
calender. He can view the calendar, but cannot open the
appointments
Tanks, Randall
