Outlook Web Access I can't write messge I get small red x in box

I am currently using the Outlook Webb Access on Explorer 7 (on Vista) and
outlook is fully working - I can read mail, download them, view them etc.
However when I try to send an email - I get a small red cross (in a box) in
the text input box. So I cannot type any messges or reply to any messages.
Does anybody know how to fix this.

Please help .... Thanks
