Outlook Web Access\MOPS 2007

I have not yet used the outlook addin in anger. However a difficulty
seems to be an inability to identify the resource assignment where the
individual is the assignment owner for more than one resource. Is
there a way to expose the resource name on the Outlook PWA task form.

Thx

Anger? Wow, that is even one more reason to avoid using the Project Server
add-in for Outlook. Frankly, I do not know any way around the problem you
describe, since the Project Server 2007 task information does not show the
Resource Names column in the Outlook display. Again, this is why I
recommend the alternate solution which would solve your problem very nicely,
which is to display the My Tasks page as the Home page of an Outlook folder.
Refer to the following Blog post for the steps:

Just a thought. Hope this helps.

Hi Dale

I agree with you but users insist on wanting to work within outlook. I
like your alternative offering but in truth majority of people spend
the day with IE open and I have never been convinced of the
difficulties of going directly to My Task page.

Mike:

You are soooo right about this. Time reporting and task tracking doesn't
belong in Project Web Access (App).
