outlook will not hold appointments

I have a user on my network whose Outlook works in every
aspect except for when she adds a non-reoccurring
appointment like a doctors appointment to her calender
then she goes to her inbox then back to her calender
reoccurring appointments stay but the non reoccurring are
no where to be found. Can anyone help me with this?
