Outlook will not uninstall

Matt Taylor

I tried to get outlook express 6.0 off of my computer
running windows XP. There is no option to remove it from
adding/removing windows components, no option to uninstall
it and when I try to delete the outlook folder, it
regenerates itself only seconds later.

I don't want outlook on my computer. I never used it,
never will, and it is only taking up space. I tried to
get professional help with microsoft but my legitimate
product ID number is "invalid", so I can't get
professional help at all.

I need to know how to remove every component of outlook
express from my computer. I don't want it on my computer
and that decision should be mine, not microsoft's.

.
If you can identify something like "Microsoft Office..."
in the Add/Remove section of the control panel, try
opening it up and select to remove just the Outlook
portion.
