outlook with the imap protacol

Hi,

I'm having problem with outlook 2000 and newer versions
using the imap protocal for mail delivery. IMAP works ok
on outlook expree but not outlook fully, The problem is
you don't seem to able to download the full message only
then headers so when you get the pop box saying you have
new mail you carn;t open it. You click the read/open
button but nothing happens. If you then go to your inbox
you can open the message. also the folders don#t seem to
refresh properly showing new mail like they do in outlook
express. The main reason for using outlook is for
contacts and calender etc.

Anyone got a workaround for this?
