Outlook won't close

Hi, Thank you in advance for your help. I have Outlook on all our pc's and we
use exchange. Exchange lives on a server. Some users try to close outlook and
outlook goes away except for a small message that says outlook is closing.
This meesage stays there and you can't do a proper shutdown. You have to go
into task manager and end it there (usually takes 4 or 5 tries to get it to
close.
I configured email for a user yesterday and same thing happens.
Any ideahs would be appreciated. Thanks
