Outlook won't connect to server when using VPN over Wireless

I have a home wireless ADSL network over which I VPN into my company's
network, which works fine. I can connect to their intranet and work as normal.
But when I try to start Outlook 2003 it tries to connect and fails. It won't
sync in offline mode either, it fails to connect.

If I connect over an ADSL 'wired' modem, everything works fine.

Is this a setting on the Outlook server or my company's network that is
stopping me on from connecting or something local.
I have tried turning off all firewalls and encryption on the wirelss network
but this has not made a difference.
All my colleagues in the UK office are having the same issue.

Help!?! Many thanks in advance for any advice.

When did you setup the outlook account? before or after you created the VPN
connection?

We use the exact same setup but from the laptop I first create the VPN and
connect to my work network, than I setup outlook to connect to the work
exchange. I have had no problem doing it that way.

Try deleting the outlook profile, connect the VPN then and only then try to
setup outlook to connect. You never know it may work....

Denis, VPN and Outlook work together over a 'wired' ADSL connection so I
don't think this is the issue.
It works on wired ADSL but not wireless.
