My boss receives 4 word document attachments in Outlook from an external
email account. He then "forwards" them to another external email account.
The receiver gets the text message but the attachments fail to appear.

My boss forwards the same email to me internally and I get them.

I forward them to my hotmail account and they all get there.

I forward them to the original receiver and he gets them.

Isolate the problem to my boss's PC/profile/configuration.

What possible setting is there in Outlook that wont allow him to send
attachments to a specific user? The receiver is a law firm and recieves
multiple Word Docs daily but never receives tha attachments from my boss.

I found something that said to uncheck the "use Word as the email editor"
but that did not solve the problem. I need guidance on this please. It
makes me look really bad and i cant explain why it is happening.

And yes my boss is set to use HTML versus plain or rich text. I would prefer
to use html.

However, is he forwarding to an external address in his Contacts? Each
contact with an external address can override the message format, which
might be the cause of what you see. Check the Internet Format properties
for the contact.

Double-click the email address.
