Outlook won't remember password

I'm running Outlook 2002 and each time I hit Send and
Receive it brings up the "Enter Network Password"
Window. I enter the password and put a check in the save
password box. I have even gone into the e-mail account
setup and entered my password there, but each time I re-
open Outlook, it is not there and I have to re-enter my
password each time I collect my mail. Any suggestions?
