Here's the story:
removed office xp pro from a win2k workstation. installed
office 2000 std. gave everyone rights to the microsoft
keys in the registry so when they login they can make
changes to it when their outlook is configured.
problem:
no matter how many times you go through and set it up,
whenever you close outlook, and go back into it it prompts
you to setup a profile again, and it even states that
an "earlier" version of outlook was installed recently and
would I like to retain those settings. No matter what I
do, unless I have the user as a local admin, they can't
get the profile settings to stay.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve Lundy
