Outlook won't save password- have tried everything- Help!

A few days ago, Outlook started prompting me for my password everytime it
checked my POP3 email even though it is saved. I have removed the registry
key as recommended by Microsoft, updated to XP SP2 and Office SP3. I have
also formatted and reinstalled my OS and Outlook, but none of this has solved
the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
