Outlook won't stop typing letters

I haven't seen a pattern behind this, but approximately once per hour Outlook
2007 (using Word as editor) will take over my keyboard and start repeating
the last letter typed until I press escape or click in the window.

Is this the preferred way to give MS beta feedback on bugs?
