Setup: Server: Exchange 2003 on Windows 2003.
Client: Office 2003 on XPP SP1.
Problem: Cannot mail merge a contact list in the Exchange server's public folder.
Note: Mail merge works for the Outlook users contact list and the export/import operations. If you set up the public contact list to show up as an address book, and select that contact list, and then start the merge, it proceeds into word, but it fails to pull up the actual contact information. It seems to want the file Schdmapi.dll, which does not exist.
A fresh blank hard drive install has the same problem.
Starting the mail merge from inside word fails also, with an error about a dialog or database engine failure.
This used to work before upgrading to Office 2003, and the users are not impressed with this new "feature" Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Ty
