Hello !
Using Outlook XP (sp3) running on XP Home (sp2) both with all post sp
patches applied.
Connection to ISP is made using 56k dial up modem.
The account settings are ok, according to the test settings wizard.
Despite this, upon starting Outlook, I get an error message 0x800CCC0D
(cannot find the mail server) - before any attempt to dial to the ISP.
I've googled on this.. Tried all suggestions - advancedconnection
settings - tried LAN with modem, modem only, use IE settings.. all
fail.
Clicking on "send/receive" button works ok.. But "scheduled"
connections (on start and every X minutes) fail..
Any clue/suggestion/explanation ?
Thanks
