Outlook XP and formatting

1. I want to be able to set my e-mail so that it always sends in Plain
Text - even on replies. How can I do this?

2. If I send a message in Plaintext, when I read it in the sent folders
it shows as Rich Text.

I am not using word as the default editor and mail is sent to plaintext as
default

Two ways to do this. 1) Make sure all your incoming mail is converted to
Plain Text See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307594/en-us . 2) Click
Format>Plain Text for any replies that aren't already Plain Text.

I can't reproduce this.
