Our environment is windows 2000 server, exchange2003, windows xp pro,
office xp. And i am testing shared calendars.
This is test scenario
User A is Offline.
User B is online and has delegated access to User A Mailbox.
There is an existing appointment in the calendar that both can see.
User A modifies the appointment subject in the calendar preview pane
User B also modifies the same appointment in the calendar preview pane
User A synchronises
User A sees the conflict flag on the appointment and amended subject
text created by User B
User A opens appointment and sees own modified subject
User A closes and attempts to reopen appointment. Conflict resolution
dialogue now appears offering a choice between two appointments with
identical subjects (both the one created by User B)
The problem doesnt seem to occur if the appointment subject is opened
and modified in a separate window.
Has anyone else noticed this problem?
Is this problem related to outlook or exchange?
