We have in place office 2007, 2003 and xp. I have written a script which
detects if profiles are already set up and if not configures them by putting
an importprf key in place. Now, this works fine on 2003 and 2007 but on XP
and mst was made for the installation so it would auto configure outlook. The
old exchange server has now been decomissioned and a new one is in place.
which now poses a problem that when outlook xp tries to open for the first
time it points to the old server and fails. what i would like to know is
where in the system is the information that is telling outlook how to setup
so i can put a bit in the script to delete the autoconfig and replace it with
my method??
Hope that makes sense!!
Many thanks
