We are currently using Exchange 2000 with Outlook 2002 on the desktops. We
quite often add additional mailboxes to staff mail profiles and they use the
"from" field when they want to send from the additional mailbox in their
profile. We have one user that gets "operation failed" when she tries to use
the "from" field. She can log directly on to her second mailbox and send
messages no problem. However if she tries to use the "from" field she still
gets the message "operation failed". This happens with the profile that
contains the users primary mailbox and a second generic mailbox or the
profile that contains only the secondary mailbox.
So far we have created new mail profiles, examined Exchange mailbox
permissions, and tried logging on at different workstations, still no luck.
Any help/ideas would be most appreciated.
