Outlook XP just shutsdown - Help

I will be in the middle of reading an email, and all the sudden it just
shutsdonw. When I try to reopen it, it says there has been a problem, and
asks "do I want to open in safe mode".

I didn't know there was a "safe mode" for Outlook. The only thing I have
linked to Outlook is the ipac sync software.
