Outlook xp modifies files

When I send an office attachment, whether it be MS word or MS
PowerPoint, from MS outlook the size of the attachment that I send and
the size of the attachment I receive are two different sizes. Has
anyone seen this scenario? I have done some testing and I only see
the problem in Outlook XP. Outlook 2000 does not seem to display this
problem.

Try Tools, Options, Email Options, Advanced Options and deselect the bottom
option. It is a good idea not to use this as it embeds a colossal amount of
private information about who created the document and when, etc. You are
also probably seeing the results of Smart Tags being stripped out during the
round trip.
