During a send/receive, Outlook XP slows to the point
where I can't open another message, folder or drop down
menu until the send/receive is complete. Also, if I have
Calendar open, especially if I'm planning a meeting,
everything comes to a halt for a long time. This happens
even when Outlook is the only application running. I have
all of the Office XP service packs and updates installed.
I connect to the internet by cable modem and to my
company's intranet via a VPN client. My equipment is as
follows:
Dell Dimension 8200
Pentium IV 1.9 ghz
512MB RAM
3COM 10/100 Duplex NIC
Windows XP Home Edition with all service packs and
updates installed.
All drivers are up to date.
Any suggestions?
