Outlook XP SP3+act. hang when browse for attach a file

i has a weird fail.

i have Outlook XP(2002) with SP3 and critical updates over a WindowsXP
SP2 with critical updates installed. i'm using word as email composer
in outlook.

when i create a new email, and click the paper clip icon to attach a
file, opens over 'my documents'. if i can to go anywhere from here,
attach window and new email window freezes/hang. from windows explorer
i can go normaly to these places without problem.

any ideas?

RESOLVED: automatic critical update roll-on install MS04-16 patch, that
has a incompatibility with 'HP Share-to-Web' that is installed
automaticly with each HP Escaner or all-in-one. there is a option to
make it compatible, but i resolved it UNINSTALLING HP-Share-to-Web
program. now it works flawlessly
