Outlook XP tasks mileage journal

I find two different task functions, one in Journal and one in Tasks. I want
my Tasks to be recorded in my journal when I complete them with Mileage
figures.

Now I get Mileage if I enter a Task from the Tasks, but no journal entry.
And a Journal entry when I enter from the Journal but no Mileage option.

You should post to one of the Office newsgroups. This newsgroup supports
the OneNote program, not Outlook.

Thank you, I did post in the Office group, specifically for Outlook. How it
arrived here is beyond me.

You're using the web-based newsgroup interface, and it is confusing.
If there is no security reason (some businesses ban NNTP newsgroup use at
work), you can use the full Microsoft servers for any or all of the
Microsoft newsgroups in a news reader (like Outlook Express). Simply set up
a News account (OE's Help has details) with msnews.microsoft.com as the
Server. You'll receive a full listing of all Microsoft's newsgroups which
can be searched for specific programs or products, and you can subscribe (no
logon, no password) to any you wish. It works with any Internet Service
Provider, and is free.
