Outlook XP - tasks

How can I set Outlook to automatically delete completed tasks, but to retain uncompleted ones indefinitely? None of the auto-archive settings seem to achieve this.

Hi,

This can be done is Number of ways. I Just have few ideas on top of my
head. I havenot tried these ideas. You could set a rule in Outlook to
delete completed tasks.you can also make sure that It can automatically
hide the task so you have completed it.

I am not too sure there are also few 3rd party products which can be
installed along with outlook. It is used for Calendar and Task
Synchronization. There is also few products called Taskline...that can
Scheduler that applies critical path techniques (e.g. dependencies and
constraints) to Outlook task management. Each task gets a recommended start
and finish date based on information about the task, your normal working
hours, and your current schedule of appointments. Custom form includes a
Priority field to order your tasks more precisely. Can also put tasks in
your Calendar folder to provide a unified view of all your commitments.

Please let me know has this helped You...

Thank You...

Hi

Thanks for replying

I can't find anywhere in Outlook XP where I can write a rule which applies to tasks rather than e-mail messages. Can you please point me in the right direction?
