Outlook XP very sluggish

hey there.
recently installed office XP on my new P4 2.6 machine,
with 512 RAM.
all apps are much faster than before, but outlook XP
seems exetremly sluggish - when moving between messages
etc. i have even detected and repaired, compacted the Db
etc... but nothing. even Outlook 200 was better!

any ideas?

Try disabling the Messenger integration; Tools-> Options-> tab Other
