I was trying to set up a rule however it does not work.

Is it possible to set up a rule on your Sent box only,
that deletes copies of your emails that you CC yourself
on?

I do not want to turn off the copying of my sent messages,
but if I CC myself, I do not need them in my Inbox and my
sent box.

Thanks
Amanda

If you CC yourself and keep a copy in the sent items folder, what is the
purpose of the CC??

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to the
Swen virus, all e-mails sent to my actual account will be deleted w/out
reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer

By CCing myself, it shows up in my inbox as an unread
message that I know I have specifically wanted to
file...otherwise it might get lost in my sent box and I
might not file it.
