Is it possible to use Select All to accomplish the
following:

All contacts display the contact name (last name first)
and a second line that displays the company name?

I can accomplish this, manually, contact by contact.
Just wanted to confirm that a global directive through
Select All is possible, or, in the alternative, a
different approach. Thanks.

All that Select All does is select all the items in the view. No more, no
less.

If you want a two-line view, you can create a new address card view and add
just the fields yo9u want, in the order you want them.

I don't think Select All is the appropriate command to accomplish your objective. If you want to verify that all your contacts are entered as you would like them, the best thing would be to display the contact folder with a view that has only those fields. If the company view (Tools > Current View > Company) doesn't provide you with enough flexibility, try creating your own custom view.
