Outlook

I am trying to install Outlook, but am having problems
after the installation.

When I open Outlook, and go to the clanendar, it brings up
a grey secrrn with the message

"Unable to display the folder. Could not complete the
operation. One or more parameter values are not valid".

At the top of this screen, it says "Unable to display the
folder".

When I go to the contacts, and try to add a contact, I get
the following message;

"The item could not be saved to this folder. The folder
has been deleted or moved, or you do not have permission.
Do you want to save a copyof it in the default folder for
the item".

I have been given Admin authority on the network in order
to try to get Outlook installed correctly, but this has
not helped. At this point I do not know what avenue to
persue from here.

Is there any sugestions that you have for this situation?
