I have a number of emails within Outlook 2000 on a vista laptop which will
not now open due to a MAPI32.dll error - is there anyway i can get to these
emails without opening the program and then transfer them to Windows mail
which i will now set up to solve the Outlook/Vista problem?

The emails are in a number of different folders within Outlook 2000.

Thanks for any help.

OL2k is not compatible with Vista, the mapi32 being one problem reported.
I'm unsure as to whether any workaround has been posted. Google may help

Thanks DL - haven't seen anything as yet, so hopefully the easiest way will
be to somehow get the old emails off and start using Windows mail which will
hopefully solve my problems?

Any more ideas?

Cheers

If no workaround posted it would seem your only options are
1) Windows Mail
2) Upgrade to OL2003 or higher
