Outlook07 - older appts not showing up

On some shared calendars - older items do not show up for 2007 clients. At
first we thought it was a mailbox policy (we dont allow archiving), then we
found out someone still on Outlook2003 can see all the appointments. This is
only affecting some mailboxes (Exch2003, no caching). I moved one affected
mbx to another Store; also backed it up as .pst and reloaded it - no change
using OL2007.
This just started recently... is it an Office2007 SP2 issue? How ca we get
the users to view the appointments?

Changed views... no.
Some uses have Blackberries, but do not sync on these accounts, they are
resources.

can you see them in table view (like By category) ? Do the users sync with
windows mobile or iphones?
