Outlook07, suddenly not syncing "server responded forbidden"

Outlook suddenly quit automatically syncing with my Qwest e-mail account:
"Cannot open this item. Access to the account was denied. Verify that your
username and password are correct. The server responded "Forbidden"."

Qwest uses (a branded version) of Live Hotmail.

Since September 1, WebDAV access to Live Hotmail/MSN accounts has been
disabled.
For Outlook 2003 and 2007, you can use the use the Outlook Connector
instead.
For Outlook 2002 and previous, you'll have to configure it with POP3
instead.
If you are using Outlook Express, use Windows Live Mail instead (success or
Outlook Express).
