Outlook10 hangs with Rules set

I have a Windows 2000 domain with Exchange 2000 Server .
I have Outlook 2000 as well as OutlookXP (Outlook10) clients on this
network.

OfficeXP (Outlook) Users who have set rules on their mail client have
problems of Outlook not responding very frequently, This is not the case
with Outlook 2000.

Any clues how to over come this please
