I am having a problem with Outlook not displaying images and I think it is
related to an XP hotfix update process I went through. Hopefully someone
can help me out. I run Outlook 2000 on a Windows XP system and everything
was always fine until yesterday. My XP is set up to automatically download
and allow you to install the hotfix updates, and yesterday I installed the
latest XP update. Then after restarting, my cable modem would not connect
to the ISP server so I rolled back my system settings to yesterday to
uninstall the hotfix updates. That didn't solve my connectivity problem so
I called the internet provider and he helped me reinitialize the modem,
refresh the ip's etc. The modem then worked again and I had internet
access. However now all the images in my Outlook email messages are red X's
and I am not sure what to do to get the pictures to show up again. Any
advice on what caused the pictures to stop displaying, and more importantly,
what I can do to get them working again?
Thx for any help,
