Outlook2003 and WinFaxPro10.02 not compatable

I upgraded from Office2002 to Office2003. I ran the
Office2002 since January of this year with WinFaxPro10.02
(XP version)

I DO NOT send faxes through the email I just use WinFax
to send faxes to other fax machines.

Since upgrading I have renamed the outcmd.dat file to get
OL2003 to even start and I have unchecked all the Add-ins
in the Add-in Manager except the "Exchange Extensions
property pages"

I even went into WinFax and turned off the "Email and
Outlook Integration" option in the program setup.

Now when I exit Outlook2003 I get and Error that Outlook
has performed a fatal error and is shuting down. Then I
get directed to the Microsoft Online Crash Analysis page
at the following address;
http://oca.microsoft.com/en/Response.asp?SID=660

This tells me to Please contact Symantec® Corporation in
order to find out if a solution or an updated version of
Symantec WinFax Pro is available.

There is nothing about this error or there is NOT another
newer version of this program.

Why does Outlook2002 work properly with WinFaxPro10.02
and NOT Outlook2003.

Also the built-in Junk Email filter will not filter any
sub folders under the Inbox, it will only filter the
Inbox.

Any help would be appreciated.
I have a Toshiba Satellite 1135-S155 Laptop with Windows
XP Home edition and 512meg of DDR SDRAM and a 2GHz Intel
Celeron Processor.

Symantec does have an updated program, version 10.03, but you will have to
call their tech support ($30) to get it.

Symantec stopped development on WinFax prior to the Office 2003 beta so it
is not compatible. Blame Symantec for this compatibility problem.

Is there another Fax Program out there like WinFax that
is compatable with Office2003?

I run an Online Real Estate School and I have to send
faxes daily to the Real Estate Commission and I need a
program that will allow me to save the files and then
maintain a log of what I have sent.

Outlook 2003 is compatible with Windows 2000 Personal Fax and Windows XP
Fax. Neither is very full featured, but both should work as long as you have
a modem on the Windows HCL list.

I got that run around too when I wanted 10.03.

If you press them, and if you get the right person, you should get it
for no more than P&P, or S&H, as Americans seem to call it.

I paid £5, about $8.
