outlook2003 crashes on startup

Outlook2003 crashes on startup. I've tried running in safe mode- doesn't
work. I've tried repairing .pst several times- didn't help. I've tried
creating a new mail profile via the control panel- didn't help. I don't see
anything in the event viewer except the un-informative error that Outlook has
"accepted the safe mode".

Unless anyone has any other suggestions- I'd like some help on completely
uninstalling Office2003, including wiping whatever needs to go in the
registry.

Have you tried renaming outcmd.dat on your machine?

Thanks for the suggestion. I gave it a try, alas- it was unsuccessful as
well. I just renamed it something like outcmd_old.old.

Any other ideas?

I tried renaming outlook.srs as well- read that pointer somewhere.

I followed all the tips on the following page- to no avail...
