Outlook2003 MAJOR Bugs to reduce productivity

I have found three MAJOR bugs so far in Outlook2003,
The first is the Junk Email filter that is part of the
program will not work on any sub-folders under the Inbox,
it will only work on the Inbox.
The Second is that Outlook 2003 will not function
properly on a computer that has "WinFaxPro 10.02 for
Windows XP" installed.
The third bug is that the macro functions do not work
100% of the time. The first time i reply to an email
using any of my macros they do not always work, i have to
close the email and open it back again before it will
work properly. it has to do with line count. the first
time email is opened it does not have the same line count
as the second time.

If anyone has any clues on what to do to correct these
bugs i am all ears.

thank you

Hi Tom, I'm also having the same problem with Outlook 2003 and Winfax Pro
10.2, Outlook just refuses to respond. Also when I close Outlook down the
Outlook symbol stays in the system tray down by the clock. If I double click
the Outlook symbol it says
"Out look is not responding. If you are using an exchange server e-mail
account, you can cancel pending server requests by clicking the Outlook icon
in the notifications area, and them clicking Cancel server requests on the
shortcut menu"
I'm not using an exchange server or anything, the only way that I seem to be
able to get rid of the icon is by doing a reboot but the next time that I
open and close Outlook I get the same problem.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Well what I tried was the following but I am still having
shutdown crashes. Outlook works sometimes but when I
finish for the day and shut down my laptop I get an
Outlook Crash thing and what the webstie from Microsoft
is telling me is to call Symantec and see if they have a
fix. here is the address to the crash anaylsis that i get
when i shut down Outlook at the end of the day but not
always.

Here are the steps that I have taken to help resolve some
of the trouble.
#1. Go to "Search" and look for a file called outcmd.dat
and delete it. (you need to have the show hidden files
turned on in the Folders Options.)
#2. Open Outlook and then go to tools, options, choose
the other tab and click the Advanced Options button.
Click on the Add-In Manager button and uncheck everything
except Exchange Extensions property pages. then OK out of
that window. then shut down outlook. do not restart until
you do #3.
#3. Start your message manager for WinFax. then click
tools, Program Setup then Email and Outlook Integration.
Uncheck the box that says "enable sending faxes by email"
and OK out of that window. I did not have fax sharing
turned on in winfax but if you do you might have to
experiment with that.
#4. I did a computer reboot to make sure everything was
unloaded and then reloaded.

I still experience a crash but it does not happen until i
shut down Outlook.

I am looking for a number to Symantec but i doubt if
those guys have a clue. I could not find anything on
OfficeXP2003 in their knowledge base.

if you get anywhere let me know at my email address
please,
(e-mail address removed)
Thanks and i hope this helps
