Hey,
I am having a strange Outlook problem that I am hoping someone can
offer help with. I am running Outlook 2003 on XP using an external
POP3 server as the main message service. I also have an Exchange 2003
server being used for internal corp calendaring (not setup for external
mail). My boss has a Verizon Treo 650 with the Wireless Sync app that
monitors his Exchange Calendar (it checks for changes then pushes them
to the phone). It also monitors his Exchange mailbox (for some reason
it wont monitor the local pop3 .pst) I have setup a rule that copies
all new pop3 mail to his Exchange inbox so that the Verizon app will
automatically sync it to his Treo. This works fine, the problem is
that everytime a send/receive occurs the messages move out of his
Exchange Inbox back to the local Inbox in his personal folders. I have
checked all the rules and their is nothing setup to do this. I have
tried uninstalling and reinstalling Outlook 2003 and it still does the
same thing. I have the feeling I am missing something..... Any help or
experiences would be appreciated.
