Like many I'm sure my Outlook contacts has grown and grown and I keep it
synchronised with my phone. But normally I only input numbers on my phone.
Today I tried to import numbers from an excel file including mobile phone
numbers which were all stored as text in the format '+441234567890 (i.e. a
leading '+' sign, country code, number, no spaces) - this is perfect for my
phone and essential since I travel a lot.
In every case the import dropped the '+' sign.
Stranger still, when I go into the contacts I imported, it will not even
allow me to ADD a '+' sign.
And worst of all, my existing contacts that have a '+' on them already, if I
go in and try to edit the number, again it deletes the '+' that was already
there!!!
This is silly. So I must be missing something.
Help anyone?
Thanks
