outlook2007 hanging in middle while receiving message

i am using 2007 outlook. it hangs in middle while receiving messages. I am
getting "oulook has encountered problem, please restart outlook".
I have run scanpst, created new mail, reinstalled outlook office 2007.

please help me out

Send/receive issues are often caused by having a virus scanner installed
which integrates with Outlook. Uninstall/disable this integration and try
again.
