Outlook97 / Internet Mail - continues to update OLD Mail file

My Outlook97 / Internet Mail

Continue to update with an OLD Mail file each time I
CheckMail.

What can I do?

I have:
Remove and recreate Profile
Delete and started with clean PST file
deinstalled and reinstall OutLook
even reinstall Win98

Very frustrated .... help
