Outlook98: open MSG-Files

I save with my Outlook 98 an email in message format. When I try to open this
file I get the error: ddd.msg is not a valid Win32 application.

I also can't open this file with Outlook Express. I save many emails in this
format.

Can anybody help?

It appears as if the file association is broken. What I would try to do
in your situation is
- right-click on the saved message and select Open with...
- Select the program from a list
- select Outlook 98 and check 'Always use the selected program etc.'

The exact way may vary depending on your Windows version.
