output template features from html to word document

My previous question was answered... macros do not record
drawing features. Tx.
What we were trying to do was take a document that is
published on the web, and insert the contents into a word
template specifically in the header and footer;
(programatically, via the macro we could have seen how to
sequence the events (insert text, insert short line,
insert next series of text, line break, insert image etc.)
We are doing ok with the insert text and line break, but
are having trouble with the "short line" "long line" (not
underline or strike through). Any ideas?

Hi Anne,

You can still use VBA for this - you just can not record the correct
sequence using the macro recorder. If the other methods I suggested
will not work for you then you may want try posting to one of the Word
VBA newsgroups as Bob suggested. I'm sure one of the gurus that hang
out there can give you a hand. :)

Please post all follow-up questions to the newsgroup. Requests for
assistance by email can not be acknowledged.
