Output to PCL

Hey everyone,
I am attempting to convert a MS word document to PCL. I have an HP
Laserjet printer connected and I go to File->Print, I use Save To File
and the extension I get is .PCN. How does this differ from PCL? I
opened the file inside of WordPad and it says:

@PJL Enter Language=PCL3GUI

So I guess my question is, even though has the PCN extension is it
still a PCL formatted file?

NOTE: The line that I included above is not all that the file says,
there are a lot of escape characters and the like in it, but I put that
line in there because it said PCL.

I apologize, the file format I am printing to is PRN. Mistyped the C
in there. Sorry.
